Terms and conditions
These terms cover your use of Desk. By signing in you agree to them. If you use Desk through your university, your university's own rules also apply.
What Desk is
Desk is a companion to Google Classroom. It gathers your classes, assignments, notes and exams in one place, writes study notes from your teachers' material, plans revision, lets students ask doubts and give feedback, and lets teachers post assignments and follow their students' progress. Google Classroom stays the official record: if Desk and Classroom ever disagree, Classroom is right.
Who can use it
Desk is offered to students and faculty of partner universities, starting with Atlas Skilltech University. Sign in with your university Google account. You're responsible for activity on your account.
Using it fairly
- Use doubts and feedback respectfully. Abusive, threatening or discriminatory messages aren't allowed, anonymous or not.
- Don't use Desk to share another person's work or data without permission, or to break your university's academic integrity rules.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
Study notes and revision plans
Study notes are generated automatically from your teachers' material and can contain mistakes. Always check them against the original notes. Revision plans are suggestions; follow your teachers' guidance first.
Content
Your work and your teachers' material stay theirs. You give Desk permission to store and process it only to provide the service. Teachers who post from Desk are responsible for what they post, as they would be in Classroom.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Desk available but can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features or these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Desk is free for students and faculty during its launch at Atlas Skilltech University. If paid plans are introduced later, they'll be offered to universities, and nothing will be charged without clear notice and agreement.
Liability
Desk is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the Desk team isn't liable for missed deadlines, lost marks or data loss arising from use of the service. Check important deadlines in Google Classroom.
Ending use
You can stop using Desk at any time and ask for your data to be deleted. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
